| The Department of MCA, KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, successfully hosted Innoverse 2.0, a National-Level 24-hour hackathon, on 1st and 2nd December 2025. The valedictory ceremony began with a welcome address by Dr. Jayashri Madalgi, HoD–MCA. Prof. Swarooprani Manoor, presented the comprehensive Innoverse 2.0 event report. Prof. N. N. Anvekar introduced the dignitaries. All guests addressed the participants, sharing valuable insights and encouragement. The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour addressed the participants, emphasizing how hackathons cultivate creativity, technical depth, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving abilities essential for today’s industry. MCA & BCA Winners received ₹15,000 each, and Runners-up received ₹10,000 each. Dhee Coding Lab announced internship opportunities for the winners, strengthening industry–academia synergy. Hackerrank Special Challenge A customised Hackerrank contest developed by the Innoverse 2.0 Dev Team further added to the technical engagement. Winners and runners from both streams were felicitated with special mementos. Participation Highlights A total of 54 teams (3 members each) registered. After the initial screening round, the Top 10 MCA and Top 10 BCA teams advanced to the final 24-hour hackathon. Prof. D. A. Kulkarni delivered the presidential remarks, followed by the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Abhishek Nazare. The event concluded with the National Anthem, group photographs, and a delightful lunch, marking a memorable end to an exciting innovation journey. |
