The Department of Civil Engineering at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, Successfully
Conducted a one-week faculty training program from 09/06/2025 to 13/06/2025. The training
program focused on 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its applications in Architecture and Civil Industry.
It was designed to enhance digital competencies among faculties of civil and Architecture
department. A total of 20 faculty members actively participated in the training program. The training
aimed to bridge the gap between academic teaching and industry practices. Experts from Dassault
Systems delivered the session for five days.

The resource person included Ms. Debajani Panda, Mr. Ashish Kulkarni and Mr. Kunal Patil.
Participants were introduced to the capabilities of 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Hands on sessions
enables experiential learning and practical understanding. Modules included terrain preparations for
infrastructure projects. Space planning and 3D Modelling were also covered. Visualization tools for
civil infrastructure were demonstrated.

The sessions emphasized collaborative design and digital simulations. Real time industry cases were
discussed for the better insight. Faculty gained the exposure to the latest tools in digital engineering.
The program encouraged innovation in academic teaching methodologies.

Overall, the training was well received and highly beneficial. It has opened new avenues for
technology integration in civil engineering education. The department extends its gratitude to
Dassault systems for their valuable contribution.
